    Hmmm... I reckon it would be convertible to a "sort of slippy" if the scales are easily removable.

    Dismantle it and file down the backlock mechanism so it just works as a slipjoint (OK, no half-stop so mind your fingers) and make new scales that don't have the cutout for the locking bar.

    That way you don't end up with something that looks more like a broken lockback, although it'd probably end up with some up-down blade play and no half-stop like a proper slippy.

    Think this will be my next purchase, but so many colours to choose out of the g10's and the woods
    They should really have made this a slippy though, would be perfect EDC by the looks of it.
