A Bag For OS Maps?
Usually when we go away on holiday we don't know exactly where we're going, so we end up taking 20-odd OS maps. Still never have right one, mind
. Anyhoo, we stuff these into the various pockets in the car and then have to search for the right map. Be nice to put them (or more) into a bag or box and sling that into the car. Easier to find the map you want, and lets me get OCD putting them in order
. Anybody found anything that fits? Can't get Google to cough up, but it's probably not a bag designed for the job I want, just one that fits.

Re: A Bag For OS Maps?
I have been using this plastic file folder to carry my OS maps in my truck for many years.

.

.

It has 12 in it at present but can expand to take about 20. As you can see it is just the right size.
I think it came from Staples but any good office supplies place or fleebay should be able to come up with one (or two) for a few quid.
It has proved to be very durable, the elastic to hold it closed has perished a bit but other wise it has taken a lot of abuse.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
Then it's a sport.

Re: A Bag For OS Maps?
Great minds
. That's a good solution. I use those folders to hold abrasives, so I should really have thought of it myself
. I kept thinking of canvas-type bags with a flap top and the maps stood vertically. I think Zen & The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance calls my thinking a "gumption trap"
.
Yeah, I did wonder about a printer and a supply of A4
.
Thanks for the suggestions.
