Alternative handle bolts?
One of my tribe is in to scooters,this type of thing:
This is one of the axle bolts,only a few quid a set of two from the local skate shop...i thought a set might go nicely on a big handled golok/parang/machete type project.

Nice idea, does the thread go all the way down? What's the the head and shaft diameters?.......Just thinking of other uses.

Its a version of a Sex bolt or Chicago screw
tho in plated plain steel
certainly can be used to bolt on scales

I think its to do with the female bolt, and traditionally a round nut... I think

You can get similar joint connector nuts and bolts in a variety of lengths from screwfix. They are 6mm thread with 15mm heads so quite chunky but at about £5 for 50 pairs (12mm long) cheap enough.

The thread goes all the way down,the head is 13mm,and the shaft 8mm
