A blue leaf.
My latest creation!
Blade by Anders Hedlund, reindeer antler and stabilized birch in the handle. Sheath of half-tanned leather as usual. Also, a little silver button for the loop. Also engraved by myself.
What do you guys 'n gals think?

The sheath is brilliant, love it. The knife and engravings well made, too.

This is one of the most wonderful knives, shown here. Nothing more to say! The sheath itself is a piece of art...

The whole package is one thing of beauty. Tasteful material mix, sweet engraving and a sheath that has its own appeal. I like it a lot, mate!
Cheers

True artistry. How did you get the blue on the birch part of the handle?

Re: A blue leaf.
Thanks for the comment Thorvaldsson. Glad you liked my humble work..
The colour was there, they colour the burl at the same time they stabilize it. I have the fortune to be able to pick out my pieces of wood directly at the supplier, ordering wood is a real hit'n'miss. Otherwise, if you want to colour a piece of wood yourself, there are blue dyes. You can mix most dyes yourself, like ad a bit of black to get a darker hue.
Then it's just bringing out the life in the wood.. Measure out what part of the piece you have will give you the most life in the finished handle. And hopefully will some oil and polishing, you'll have a beautiful piece
