    Hammertime!

    Hammertime!
Tonight I made my new hammer.
A piece of axle from a truck and an old handle from a splittingmaul.

    Nice.
I really like the idea of making a tool that will make more tools.
“I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.”

That's very cool Erik I remember reading once that all a smith needs is a hammer and ... something else, and they can create any other tool they may need. I'll have to see if I can find the quote.

Erik is gilding the lily a bit. What he didn't tell you is that he made that hammer and those blades on his 100 pound air hammer. Nice work, though.
