"Bushpig" Braai
Just thought I'd show this off!! Postman brought it today and I'm well impressed with the build. Not for backpacking but well handy for meet-ups etc. When we get a break in the weather I'll post some pic's of it in use!!
(As usual - no affilliation with the seller etc etc!!)

Re: "Bushpig" Braai
I've had it out for a full test a couple of times in the garden!! and works well. I did contact the makers and suggested that they did a mesh top that only fits half the box - then if u are using sticks, you can feed the fire without having to remove the whole grill mesh each time!! They already have started making a solid grill plate to cover 1/2 which is great so you can keep your kettle ticking over or even cook directly on it!! Overall a very robust adaptable bit of kit, and not too expensive.

Not one for the "backpackers" but I keep mine in the back of my pick-up for that just in case al-fresco picnic
Also a lot of the meet-ups now are only allowing small fires built "off the ground" this is perfect

Looks good Graham. Is it ready for a balmy night by the lakes?

The guy on that "auction" site also is adevertising in lots of 4x4 mag's - I think we'll see some more coverage as quite a few bushcrafter/wildcampers have been buying them now!!
