Hi.
Thought I'd say hello, even though I'll mostly be lurking.
Most of my sharp stuff relates to diving, either cutting out of things, or stabbing/prepping stuff.
Spyderco pacific salt (bloody sharp and reliable, its my 'get out of dodge' folder)
a scubapro (OEM) line hook.
Apart from that I sometimes carry a spear gun and a stabby knife for flatties (UK blue tang)

Re: Hi.
Hello, welcome. It'd be good to see and hear what you get up to with your sharps when splashing about.
I rode over the mountains to Huddersfield. A wilder people I never saw in England.
The men, women and children filled the streets as we rode along, and appeared just ready to devour us.

Re: Hi.
Not much to tell really chap. I like to hear attenborough saying 'the sick, the weak and the elderly' as I shoot/stab the fit and tasty looking bugger.
Spearing tends to be bass and pollack. I gut them underwater, its cleaner and gives something back to the eco sytem. Stabbing is usually flatties, (turbot, plaice, sole etc) although sometimes it can be cod (they're dopey buggers). Apart from that they do a good turn at gutting scallops. What can I say, Im a sea food lover
the line cutters are for when/if I get caught in crap. Monofilament net is particularly nasty, its virtually invisible and wraps around you like the taxman on april 1st. I like folders with bungee lanyards, less risk of dropping/losing them and they're just there when you need them.Last edited by ebt; 22-07-12 at 09:50 PM.
