My New Fiddleback :)
I seem to have a bit on an addiction to Fiddleback forge knives at the moment

This is what I collected from the local customs office this morning, its a fiddleback bushfinger in Jade green. I like it a lot

I like that ghostly green look, very nice knife.
Walk softly and carry an armoured tank division.

I like the jade green, not sure about the orange accent though. However still jealous. The bushfinger is a pretty knife. Nice one!

been eyeing up a Ladyfinger for some time - only simple wood for me though...
Mess with nature at your peril for you are small and biodegradable

Love the look of that salad, had my eye on these Fiddleback cats for a while.
Just thinking that maybe that handle is a touch narrow for me? How does it feel?
Cherrs.

Re: My New Fiddleback :)
The Ladyfinger is suppose to be a Bird and trout knife and the handle is a bit slim for really pushing it, but still works fine with me (large hands, long fingers). The Bushfinger has a fuller handle that is a bit less elegant, but is better when really forcing cuts.

Re: My New Fiddleback :)
Hi Chris
The handle on this one is a bit slimmer than some other bushfingers I have seen, but the handle has plenty of belly to it and is quite big over all, about 4.75 inch in length. I have massive hands and it feels great to me . I have only used it so far for food prep at home and a bit of whittling on the balcony at night as I don't yet have a sheath for it yet .
I have a sheath arriving tomorrow (via ups) and will be taking it out to the woods/mountains for an overnighter this weekend
Heres an in hand shot fer ye ( I have big hands , most gloves don't fit me due to finger length)

Here is a couple of photos of my fiddleback hunter and fiddleback bushcraft karda for comparison , I will do a photo of the bushfinger next to the hunter for you, when my FB hunter comes back from luckylee for its sheath fitting
The handle on the hunter is 5 inch
