Format a locked Micro SD

Do you get the option to format disk? You may be lucky, but I wouldn't hold my breath

That was the first port of call Tom. It said write-protected and that's when I started the investigation. I found a few ideas to try but nothing worked. Spent enough time on it now.

Have you tried putting it in a camera and using that to format it?

Try some Linux, that has sometimes worked in the past.
