Looking for wide blade knife suggestions like bravo 1, entrek, bk2, etc..
Hey guys,
I'm a big fan of wider style blades.. Like the bravo 1, entrek, bk2, etc.
Can't afford one right this moment, but looking to eyeball on for the future. I really prefer a wider style blade, bayley knife, etc.
Need help in locating something ideal from the BB experts! Much appreciation fellas.

What's your future 'eyeball' budget and preferred blade length?
Big difference in spend between Becker and Bayley, would go for an Esse 5 or 6 rather than a BK2 personally."Peace is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading"........Thomas Jefferson.

Ritter RSK3 fixed blade,
Old style or new Ka-Bar Warthog fixed?"Don't keep saying to yourself, if you can possibly avoid it, 'But how can it be like that?', because you will get into a blind alley from which nobody has yet escaped. Nobody knows how it can be like that." Richard Feynman (on QM).

Do you mean wide as in thick or as in deep?
If deep, have you considered the Tops Pasayten? You are

You could try the Farid Mule.

Pretty wide blade.
I've got one on the way, so I cant comment on what they are like just yet. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
Then it's a sport.

Re: Looking for wide blade knife suggestions like bravo 1, entrek, bk2, etc..
The Doug Ritter knives are nice, but not a the of the stone wash or the thing st the top of the spine.
I'm not actually looking for the bk2 or bravo 1, just similar styled wider blades. I like about 4-5 inch blades max. Wide as in width of th3 blade, not the spine. I think the bayley blades to look a bit wide, wider than most.
I'm really surprised at the lack of the blades like this style, the Gerber big rock would be perfect if the drop point didn't drop so low.
Budget would vary depending on the quality of knife, but probably not going to spend more than s bravo 1.
Would really appreciate any help at all.. ESEE,s are nice, I own the rc3.. Wouldn't mind owning the four, but the handles are difficult to get shewths made for.
Thanks again for the suggestions fellas! Please keep them coming, my knowledge is limited.

Re: Looking for wide blade knife suggestions like bravo 1, entrek, bk2, etc..
Have you looked at the Ranger knife series?
Can't tell you how many times i've nearly pulled the trigger on the RD6...Beast of a knife and good reviews on You-Tube, will take a real hammering in a hard use scenario.
RD4 is a smaller blade length that may suit you better, cr@ppy sheaths though, you would have to get one made, but worth it because the knives are so good.
