The proud bolt heads on the Ti side are horrible
Not really my kinda thing anyway, but that's a killer for me.

Re: Heinnie-Cox now available
I also think its terribly ugly. I think it's the colour combination that deals it for me

A bit like spotting a nice figure of a girl and then, such a disappointment, when she turns around.
MalMy woman keeps complaining I never listen to her......
or something like that.

Re: Heinnie-Cox now available
You need to tell that to the likes of Strider, Zero Tolerance etc. It's not a new idea.
The reason for it - or at least the reason Strider and ZT do it, is so you get a stong frame lock. If you have plastic slabs on both sides, then you have to look at alternative locking systems which might not be as strong, such as liner locks etc. Strider have been making them like this for many years and have a big following.δxδp≥h/4π

Re: Heinnie-Cox now available
Hi Had an original Cox from HH.
Didnt have the problem with the Blade edge hitting the bar.
I found it very solidly built. The blade does thin out from the thick spine very quickly making it a good slicer while still being quite strong.
Unfortunately I had to return it as (maybe due to the size of my hands) the position of that little finger-guard nubbin thingy was all wrong for me. It either positioned my hand too far back on the Handle (its a three finger knife to start with), or pushed my index finger out onto the blade edge.
If it hadn't been so 'spensive i'd have ground it off an re-finished it. As its quite a nice little compact package and for me at least, a useful blade shape for general EDC.
I think this is a Marmite knife. I quite like the HH version but can't afford £125 on a production knife I know I would have to Modify to suit my hand

+1
I rather like the combination of G-10 and titanium. Many of my fav knives are designed that way, including all my
customs, which are mostly all Ti frame locks. I don't mind the look of this one that much, I think a better blade shape
would have made a big difference tho.

Re: Heinnie-Cox now available
I always wanted to have a play with the original design and good on HH for diving in head first , but id be really interested to know who they spoke too about what designs works for the UK Market , it just looks so square with all those hard edges .
im not a fan of frame lock styles even on a slippy , but if anyone buys one and wants it pimping a bit ,id love to have a look at one .LEATHER & KYDEX SHEATH MAKER !
