"SANDVIK " knife by ????????
I have always wondered who made this knife, presumably of Sandvik steel. I have seen posts that say Sandvik makes blades but never that it made entire knives. The example I has a relatively soft blade. I have seen several others over the years, with the variation in markings shown. Quite handle-heavy.

It was made by Sandvik. The company was brought by Bahco in the 80's and now trade under that name. It is the same company that still produces steel in Sweden.

Thank you, bushwacker.
The handle is dense plastic of some kind.

Re: "SANDVIK " knife by ????????
I have one of these. Bought it new back in the 70s. They were made with different markings / brandings apparently. In the "Morakniv" book, it shows up on page 76 as a KJ Eriksson model 1701 - called "Jagaren" (translates to "Hunter"). They show it as a 1975 model. The one in the book has the blade marked "KJ ERIKSSON MORA SWEDEN STAINLESS STEEL". Mine has a simple "K" logo and says "STAINLESS MORA SWEDEN". My sheath has a three-pointed star embossed on it. I don't know if yours is later or a concurrent model. Thanks for sharing!
