I am a big fan of Bucks, my first fixed blade was a Buck Special from my father when I was 12 I think, now my favorite is the Omni Hunter and I EDC Solitaire everyday.

Since i was a boy i wanted a Buckmaster 184. I know they're despised amongst most enthusiasts, but what the hell! I'd still have one right now!

Just googled it... what an earth are the spikes for, and they look very in the way... Rambo bowie meets a pitchfork to me

Isn't it obvious!! The spikes turn the knife into a grappling hook!! Doh! Why wouldn't you want to tie a rope onto a kilo of razor-sharp pointy steel then throw it into the air, in the dark on a covert night operation?

Lets face it, you'd be stupid NOT wanting to do that!!
