Re: Woodlore(ish) blade
This may sound a bit dumb but...... is it just the steel? We fit our own handles etc?
Seems that it must be, but hey what do I know

Re: Woodlore(ish) blade
Go ahead, knock yourself out
None taken, as i recon you havent tested any of my blades, and therefore can not know how the heat treat is on them.
Do you want me to save some of the edge so that you can fine grind the edge after heat treat? I usually grind them before heat treating, but saves 1 mm on the edge, so that i can do that after heat treating them.Trond

Re: Woodlore(ish) blade
PM sent - it's too swoopy to resist !
Trond, I assume you're going to put your name on the blade like you do with the ones on your website? It'll be nice to have the maker's name on this soon-to-be classic
Now I just need a little help making the handle and sheath...
