I don't understand how all the 'features' work.

I see that its the same handle as the lofty chopper I rehanndled too.

That is without doubt the fugliest knife I have EVER seen. Do you think it was designed and built in the dark? Seriously, the features are just daft. No thanks.

Horrendous looking article, even the ex wife was better looking and had a more attractive profile, wouldn't even use it for banging fence posts in.

    Re: Perry McGee Tracking Knife

The trouble is that it tries to be all things to all men,as a whole it just does not work,if the constituent parts were seperate then it would be a good chopper(with a reprofiled scales),pace beads good idea, foot print depth gauge, you'd have to be walking in gravy to get a depth of 6 1/2 inches on the top mark, heliograph, yeh right does it include the bill for the plastic surgery you will need after lopping off the tip of your nose.

The problem is is that we know it's a bad knife, that has some very good idea's.I can't fault Perry McGee as I've picked up some bloody good tips from him in the talks and classes he gives. We know that it will sell shed loads, these types inc the benchmark of survival knives the Chris Cain "Survival Friction Folder" (Sorry Stuart)usually do typicly at the Midland Game Fair. The thing is that I like the idea just not the flesh so to speak, and I dread to think what other tattoo's are on the other side of the blade"just see the Survival Friction Folder" In fact there's this one guy in sheffield who could do a better job, just can't remember his name

The Bushcraft and Survival mag said these were going to knock out at 99 so where did the extra 20 come from!!!!! For me this is like the saying "Moth to a flame" in that I like the idea I want it for the idea's but I don't want others to know that I've got one.

Capital punishment is a little severe.

Downgrade to corporal - one video should be enough to teach him a lesson.

The most impressive thing is the makers access to marketing & production resources to roll this out past the first prototype.

Yes, somewhere along the line someone should have said "No!", instead here we left thinking "Why?"

Maybe the "urban" version could have an extra hole or two like they have on prybar tools for bolts and driver bits, a bottle opener in the handle and glass breaking pommel, and metric markings on the other side of the blade.
