    Gregory Venters knife

Just got this from Gregory Venters, a knifemaker based in Banchory, Aberdeenshire. Blade is by Kay Vikstrom from Finland, handle is curly birch and moose antler with birch bark for spacers. It's extremely well made and the contours of the handle are perfect!

Never heard of Gregory Ventors and I'm about 35 miles from Banchory. Have you invited him along?

No, I've never heard of him either, got the knife on ebay. I've sent him an email asking a bit more about his work!

The knife is indeed great to carve with, it's what caught my eye in the first place!

Hi Gregory, welcome indeed. My other half is from Banchory and I used to live and work there too.

    Very nice knife.
