    Wrist watches

What is the Sebenza of the wristwatch? I have a GShock Casio at the moment and want to get a ticker that reflects my status as a collector of fine things! :p

I got a CWC automatic watch from Chronomaster - the hands go round, it's very easy to read, it tells you the date, glows in the dark, and is very robust. All I could ever want in a watch :approve:

I have to admit that I dont need the helium release valve but I do use the rotating bezel for timing things

    How about a PRS2 Dreadnought?

Designed by a Brit. :p (You can pick yourselves of the floor now)

See my review on the website below.
A few are going second hand on ebay for more than the original purchase price!
Limited run of 200 watches. So very collectable.

See www.timefactors.com for great deals on mechanical watches of all types.

Also recommend the Seamaster Pro (I have the Chronograph version)

Be careful Watches let to torches let to knives etc.

    Collecting watches can be addictive.

    Re: Wrist watches

    Get yourself a one-off custom.

There's this Swiss bloke called Marcel Betrisey who takes mechanical, auto movements (by ETA, as in my Tissot) and makes the case from austenitic stainless damascus. Not so good if you have a nickel allergy, but there may be a way of getting round this.

One for the gadget nuts; Suunto Observer Titanium. Time/Altimeter/Barometer and compass. OK, so i never use 99% of the functions, but its just nice having them on my wristwatch. I also happen to think it looks pretty snazzy too, without being too bulky.
