copper/brass hammer
I am looking for a brass hammer or if not available a copper on for doing hot cutting on the hardie as a steel hammer will ding the cutting edge on the hardie and blunten it.

Certainly ain't, but at least you can replace the striking faces without too much greif.

This is a surgical hammer that I rescued from being thrown away from my old place of work.
I was intending to cut it down into bolsters/spacers/whatever but at my workrate, it wouldn't be for some time.
It's copper, weighs 36oz (I had to chuck it on the scales to find out what that is in real money - 1.2kg) and although it shows signs of wear, you can have it free if you think it will be any good.
