Thanks Ian................ the number is correct........but have found out that you need the full URL not just the item number

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302258480323

    Hopefully that might do it

Item number worked for me, you have to go into advanced search , and just enter the number in, and up it comes

Why no postage, its not that heavy just stick on 50 postage and you will get more bids, not sure how much postage would be but can't be that much.
    good luck with the sale.

Looks like a lot of folks are having a look and quite a few are "watching " it. Im hopeful it will fly........As for posting it .....I would hate to deprive anyone of a great day out at Bexhill-on-Sea...........Sussex's version of Monte Carlo
and the home of British motor racing.

If you can get away without posting, do.
The amount of trouble I've had returning damaged items put's me right off.
If you do decide to post, pack well, then put it in another box and pack it again.
Do this once more and it might arrive OK.
Did I say use lots of packing?
That's if they don't just leave it on the neighbors doorstep.

Good luck with the sale, always enjoyed looking at your knives.

Just a pointer about Ebay and postage, if you include a charge for postage, Ebay will make you pay VAT on it, for example charge 50 you pay 10 vat, this is why most sellers include the postage charge in with the price of the Item, and sell things post free.

One postage scam I've seen a few times is the buyer pretends he hadn't noticed pick up only, so gets it cheaper than it should be and the seller posts anyway.

I hate the bother of sending big heavy items......Loads of viewers and a lot of "watchers" so fingers crossed........and anyway I wouldn't want to deprive anyone of a visit to my favourite town by the sea. Bexhill......the home of Motor Racing.

A shame you are out of the game. It's a nice grinder.

Thanks Greg and Camperman for your kind comments......the grinder has gone to a nice guy who is about to start making knives. So I will get him going with a few bits and pieces.
I had a couple of people contact me via ebay and my site asking me how to go about making a knife......so I pointed them to BB so hopefully a few new members.
