Little Kitchen Knife
This was made for my friend. She kept bugging me that she needed a very small and fine knife for peeling onions and garlicks and such tasks.
I had a Mora blade laying around that I almost thrown away because I spoiled it several ways - dented, scratched and bent.
I shortened the blade to 6 cm and made simple but comfortable handle from a piece of two collor bubinga. I managed to preserve strip of white wood on the top of the handle and there is darker red strip on the bottom of it. The handle measures 10,5 cm.
The blade went to etching to mask some light scratches. It shown up nice big crystals of that mild steel outer layers.
I think it looks a bit like kiridashi to me. She calls it "White tail" and is very pleased with the knife.

Nice work!
I love those Mora blades. Great for experimenting and good general users. Building a set of kitchen utility knives from Mora blades is high on my to do list. Have some rep.
