On the Russell Knives site this Hen and Rooster Model 107 is listed as a vest pocket skinner. Carbon steel, 2 5/8" blade done like a hollowground razor. For slicing not whittling, they say. Production ended in 1980 - which may explain the hefty $325 tag.

i've got one of the sailors knives, noddy mentioned, they're the best EDC i can think of and the curve in the blade is really useful for cutting string or rope or for cutting the foil off of a wine bottle

i still want a shing penknife though
