Re: Zackerty Serrata Green Micarta Spear Point...
I thought you had used 440F or did I read something wrong when I was looking at the threads.
Really nice blades =]

Re: Zackerty Serrata Green Micarta Spear Point...
It was meant to be 440F, but David Boye's success with 440C, meant that I would be wise to learn the process first, before changing the recipe
I am very happy with the outcome, and I hope that others feel the same way, too...

That's a pretty one.
Someone should bend over backwards to stump up for that. Future classics. Good luck with it mate. This is a white chocolate Magnum, the tastiest ice cream in the world, and it'll blow your sensitive teeth clean out ...

Re: Zackerty Serrata Green Micarta Spear Point...
How come?
The process costs more than I worked out, as the steel work's accountants got involved, and I paid the price..
.
I make slightly less money on these, compared to my "normal" 440F, A2, O1,
D2, 12C27 knives...
I made a promise about the first 72 knives...that one owner would get a free one to handle themselves...Well, I am going to have to sort this out as well, somehow?
Look, sales might get better..who knows?
But, I realised before this was done, that it was a limited market, and I took my chances...no worries..look at my signature...
Dimensions?
Without it in front of me, I am guessing...
The blade is about 4 inches long, and the handle slightly longer..5mm thick, and 35 mm wide..
I will phone my wife and get her to measure the blade dimensions?
