    Bowie Project

    Hey
Just wanted to show you a "little" project I'm working on right now. All it takes now is a little bit of wax to make the knife shine and a wicked sheath.

Thats a really good looking knife, I like the wood and spacers in the handle.
Can you tell us a little more about it? Thanks

Thanks, it fells really good to read that you all seam to like the knife I have made. I want to give you some more info about the knife, as asked for. Yes, coutel it is scandinavian inspired. It wasn't supposted to but it just ended up that way.
The handle is primarly made out of curl birch. The block of curl birch I used didn't look that good when I started out. But as I got working with the grinder and later oiled it, it got sort of a really nice sort of "3D" pattern in the wood. I also used a pice of buffalo horn. The metal in the handle and the guard is 5 & 1 mm brass. I also made a winding road kind of filework in the guard.
