Gentleman's SAK
My third knife. Customised from a SAK. Thuya scales cut and drilled to fit, soaked in Danish oil for 2 days and sanded to 2,000. Note that I chose not to seal the fibre holes as that is the character and charm of Thuya. A Sterling silver chain and fob were also fitted.
Without chain

Chain fitted

BTW, a pic was already posted to another thread; same knife. The techniques used were exactly as Jason_01 recommended, except I used a plate sander instead of milling the back. If the holes are drilled accurately, the scales will fit securely without glue, but I used epoxy for extra security.
Comments and honest critique are appreciated.
