Tacol damascus kitchen knife
Hello my friends
The latest kitchen helper just arrived.
29cm long, 16 cm blade, made of 90 layers 15n20 and 5160.
The pattern was randomly obtained by punching holes in the billet and ground off.
Bevel is flat ground (without secondary), handle palissandre and brass/steel pins.
For those who may think that damascus is not for everyday use, I can only say that my kitchen knife is mascus. And it looks just great when food brings out the contrast with bluish shadows.
Withdrawn
Thanks for looking
Stéphane

That looks stunning Stéphane, very nice work mate. Someone save my wallet quick....
