A plain handle, possibly dark might suit it better

I remember when I was specifying my knife from Mick in Yew he told me that you had a similar one bought before mine.
I think from seeing your posts ages ago you may have more than one of Mick's fantastic knives!
Mick Spain is a really decent chap, a pleasure owning one of his.

My daughter loves it so I will have to decline your generous offer

I was thinking antique ivory micarta since I normally prefer lighter handles to dark blades and dark handles on stainless knives.

Re: lets see your bushcraft knife.

If bushcraft = general outdoors, then I'm afraid it's a dull (as in common!) combination of Victorinox Huntsman and Mora Companion for me. On the plus side their total cost (including kydex sheath) was about £45.

That said, the SAK has done more than 10 years solid service and is still mostly in great shape. The main blade spring is perhaps getting a bit feeble but nothing to worry about quite yet

The Mora too does everything I need it to without complaint, although I did feel the need to re-profile it to more of a spear point tip. To be honest I'd prefer something a bit classier in a flat grind but, despite trying quite a few custom and production knives, I have yet to find a more comfortable handle. So until I do...
