One of these serves me rather well, lately:

Skookum Bush Tool - 3mm thickness, red micarta scales, scandi grind, A2 steel and welded-on buttcap.

I reckon I use an Opinel #10 or an old EKA slipjoint most of all but my Biushcraft fixed blade beater is usually whatever I made last, this one currently.
