Re: Lets see your rifles?
Andy, I find that our governments are rather strange.I had to do 12 months of my life for free, had a very hard life there just to defend us in 1970 in the heat of the "cold war".And back in civil life I wouldn't be able to have the same rifle and train with it.

Re: Lets see your rifles?
Ah, Many thanks.
I have had a shot with a Pedersoli in.44 Magnum, but am probably going to go for .357 magnum, as I've been told they are slightly more 'controlable' for comp shooting.
Also veering toward Marlin or Winchester if funds allow.
I think Id better start saving

Re: Lets see your rifles?
Here it is: the Poultry Shed Special.
This is my FN8 pistol action in a FN12 Lighthunter stock.
I had to remove the entire safety mechanism from the trigger block in order to get the action in the stock without cutting any wood away.
The trigger blade has been inverted, fitted to a bar from a rifle, and the bar itself runs the opposite direction to the way the original pistol one did. (I suppose you fettlers want photos of that...?)
