My current rifles, less my 17HMR which is away for some work at the moment.

So much fun to be had... so little time!

    Re: Lets see your rifles?

Due to the inclement weather on the last trip, i unfortunately spent more time taking photos of the rifle than actually using it

Sharpen it like you love it, use it like you hate it.

    Re: Lets see your rifles?

Just the ones I have on photobucket at present:

AR15 straight pull clone in .223 Wylde :

Tarted-up Tikka T3 .243Win in Civ Service Rifle role(before the above rifle arrived):

Marlin 1894 Cowboy in .45Colt (I love the pre-Remington Marlins, this one especially- butter!)

Not technically a rifle as such- Beretta Xtrema Sect 1:

But this is technically a rifle; Ruger SuperRedhawk in .357Mag:

Sako 75 heavy-barrel stainless laminate in .308win (my goto rifle for pretty much anything that doesn't need ten rnd mag or pistol calibre):
    WARNING! Dead animals in pic:

Not mine (can't find pic) but the just the same- K31 7.5x55 Swiss (often described as Schmidt-Rubin K31), straight pull:

Ah- here's mine in the shop:

    And with bayonet fixed:

Ruger 10-22 (what's left of the original!) being shot by a guest on a family and friends day at my club:

Haven't got pics uploaded of the others but nothing very exciting. My Marlin 1894 .357mag has a highly effective cheek-piece in the form of duck tape and pipe-lagging!

That's a beautiful piece of wood there. What is that chambered in, 243 or similar?

    Re: Lets see your rifles?

No dutchman would have a 243, only UK due to the legislation. I (reckon). I have a 202 outback in 308 (live i in Scotland) and wood is for polishing

Beautiful rifle, just could not live with it on the hill in November.

It is a 308 but I also have a .243 barrel with it. I used a 30-06 for years but the recoil and the amount of muzzle fire made me switch to the 308. Very happy with it and it works good on roe deer but also deer and boar. The .243 is good for foxing etc. but I do not like it on roe deer.

In the hills (which we do not have over here ;-)) I put a black plastic stock on it.

243 is very common over here for roe deer, but I prefer a bit heavier calibre for roe deer.
