From a designers point of veiw there is just no excuse in this day and age with the modern fabrics available for a hammock system to weight 2.1kg!!!!!
and even less of an excuse to have the cheek to charge 230 pounds for the privelage of hauling it around
I also se no advantage to having so many knots to put it up

My Hennessy arrived and as this was my frist experiance with a hammock i was not sure what to expect.
It was very simple to set up ,the lashing was very straight forward and i had a great nights sleep (well apart from the early alarm call from the Magpie's).

Agreed, I'm not a fan of the whole system, but can't understand the problem peolpe find with the knots. There is only 2 knots you use to put the hammock up both of which are very simple and far quicker to tie and untie than the Hennessy knots.
