    Second Sheath

Well, I finally got round to making it. Thanks to Tiffers for her numerous threads on how to do the stitching and what size needles and thread, awl to get ect!

No pictures of the first one, sorry.. its too depressing!

Seems to work quite well, and the knife clicks home into the sheath quite nicely so I'm happy.

That looks really great! What does the back look like? Its very satisfying to get that click home, isnt it! Now you have the basics sorted out, its very easy to alter designs to make them all different

I look forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks Tiffers! The back is best not talked about, unfortunately I wasn't sure how to tie off the threads in a way which satisfied me that they were not going to come undone... so theres a few messy knots (with dabs of epoxy ) on them. Next time, I think I'll just stitch the loose ends a few holes back and cut the threads as close as I can to the leather. Additionally, the leather I had was'nt long enough for the length of the sheath plus a belt loop, so that had to be added.

    Here it is..

Yep, the best way of finishing is to stitch back over a few stitches then bring the thread on the front of the sheath, back through another hole to enable you to cut off on the back.

A seperate belt loop is ok It works! What more can you need?
