My first knife
Made some new pics today of my first knife that is made from Damasteel.
I did a fake hamon with a double etching. Wood is maple and a piece of Amboina. Because i cut of the wrong size for the handle, did not take the habaki into account so i came to short.

Every time I see "My First Knife" the evil person inside me hopes it is average so that when and if I make my first knife it wont look that bad... but alas they are all so bloody good!!!! Nice job.

That is great, is that a tool for dismantling the knife ( hammer/pin punch ) also self built ??
