I had this sword (long knife really) & wanted to put it somewhere safe, so I slid it under the steel plate that makes up one of my benches, just the tang you unnerstand so there was about 15" of pointy steel sticking out from under the bench, then I dropped something onna floor & bent down to search, couldn't see it to my left so...
