Velarde For Sale
Ricardo Velarde knives for sale
The top knife is a one off prototype, marked as such, 3 1/2 inch
bg42 blade, black linen micarta sculpted handle corby handle rivets with sheath £400.
The bottom 2 drop-points have 4 inch and 3 1/4 inch blades of
ats34 ,sculpted handles are stag and black linen micarta, tapered tangs, red liners and thong holes with sheaths.
Ricardo only makes integral and interframes now, the balance, fit and finish on these knives is as good as it gets and then some:cool: although these knives are not integral they could pass for it the fit is that good!. These knives need to be handled to be fully appreciated.
A lot of money  A lot of knife:cool:
If not happy send em back:pLast edited by waldorf; 27-06-05 at 04:21 PM.

very nice waldorf.
on a more serious note, well not really but you know what I mean, I find the titanium handles very warm to the touch after you have been sitting there playing with it for ages
I carry mine IWB so it is always warmish when I come to use it. I have not handled one of the wood inlay models but I expect that makes a big difference.Last edited by bagman; 05-07-03 at 10:50 AM.

:p
Randalls are nice, but until they make folders as good as the Benza, mr Reeve and co need not worry! Two totally differernt markets IMHO one is old school, hand made from start to finish and some might add old fashioned
. The other is equally if not better made and high tech! This does give the standard models a somewhat impersonal feel to them I agree!
Try the wood benza though, its sublime!
For the record I am now a total Randall fan, but IMHO a Reeve knife is totally different in a good way!:p
