Ive never noticed these for sale;i may be wrong;an idea formed, that he may be selling, now, and so with less profit,if he were to sell in say, five years from now,due to forewarned, economic downfall!remember the full dartmoor survival knife, and kit,was selling for £160 on heinnies, just a few years ago.
doesnt this sound like a skit, from bremner,BirdAnd Fortune

    I'm not sure I follow

you could buy the Dartmoor knife under a different brand for less money after WS packed up
Fernite had around 2000 of these left which were bought by a company who made a run of 1500 compleet knives. I'm guessing what he has is random left overs found along the way. Such things happen when so much of the production was outsorced.

around 5000 of these blanks got to the stage this one is in

I've just picked up the following email

I would be grateful if you would not spread false rumours in a public forum about my business.

What is the difference between "random left overs found along the way" and an auction lot of leftover production bits?

What exactly did 'Sterling Supplies' think you were insinuating?

I merely felt that since someone was uphappy with my post I should let you know that the seller disagrees with my guess about what happened. I don't think i should make any guesses about whathe thought I was implying.

I hope that nobody thought that I was implyng that the compnants being sold were obtained by any means other than legitimate transactions with people or companies who had the right to sell them.
