    In praise of the Spyderco Lava....but

    I just love this knife. It fits perfectly in the hand, has a blade that doesn't scare people. Only downside is it's not legal EDC here in the UK, which is a real shame as it seems perfect for the task. Has anyone looked at modifying it to make it a slipjoint? If so was it successful?

    Would love to EDC it, but in this day and age I wouldn't want to take the risk.
