After a few ideas please!!!!

Hi this is a blade from the one and only Mester Stu Mitchell, i am wondering what scales to use? My idea is micarta held on with Loveless bolts and a fancy lanyard tube, any ideas about what scales would be helpful.
Boy oh BOY can that Mr Mitchell grind a blade. F1 for scale only, this is a big "UN"
Cheers Paul.
PS my "micarta" idea is that with this being a big "UN" it is likely to be used with heavy work and as we know micarta wont split shrink or do anything silly.

Scary looking thing.
Keep it sort of rough and ready - coarse micarta like canvas or one of those "burlap-carta's" of Fod's. That and copper bolts/lanyard tube so they'd get a nice patina fairly quickly.
Should be quite a thing in the end. This is a white chocolate Magnum, the tastiest ice cream in the world, and it'll blow your sensitive teeth clean out ...
Yes, actually, I am "bovvered".
