There he goes, one of god's own prototypes. A high powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Welcome aboard Ron,
Hope you like it here and do show us some pictures of your work. We don't have enough damascus work over here...

RON
Ron....(Booowie)....Welcome......What a nice suprise to see you here...
For those that are not familier with Ron, Ron is very well known and respected in the US knife making community. I personaly have learnt a lot from him, as have so many other makers . If you want to know about hydraulic presses (Ron builds them), forging bowies, mosaic canned damascus, folders, making gas forges (Ron makes them as well)......in fact almost anything about knife making, then he probably knows the answer...and if he doesnt, then he knows someone who does..
And above everything else , he is one of the finest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
...formerley known as "coutel".

Welcome to the forum
I read your link and I know what you mean about damascus even though I've only scratched the surface. Once you've made one it's hard to get excited with plain steel.
I look forward to reading your posts
Regards
Duncan
