    Possible Pyser SGI

Just had a chat with a sales fella at Pyser who was very nice.

I've asked about their products and us as a 'club' buying some of their products. We'd be looking at a bout 20% discount.

    Now these compasses are £227 - £297 so that's a considerable sum.

I've also asked for prices on the SAS button compass which is $40 at TAD.

As soon as I get prices I'll let you know - but they depend on numbers. There's irony for you.

Here's the stuff to have a look:

THIS IS TO GAUGE INTEREST. I'm not promising anything, so if you are interested, bearing in mind £300 per compass please note it here.

Obviously I can't shell out a couple of grand on my salary so payment will have to be with me in order to place the order - please take that into consideration too.

Definitely interested in a couple of the SAS mini compasses and probably an M73 or M88.

Does the order need to be all of the same model or can they mix and match for the same discount?

Also, is it restricted to their compasses or is all the other cool stuff included?

I think we can mix and match, not sure about other stuff - I'll ask when I get the price email.

    Re: Possible Pyser SGI

I have had a quote for a batch of 10 little survival compasses.

To me £18.71 each, so factoring in paypal and postage:

    18.71 each
52p 1st class large (with proof of postage as insurance).
    paypal
    84p paypal

20.08 for the first and then 19.88 for each consecutive one as long as they are paid for in the same paypal.

I propose posting each individually as insuring more than one is taking it to special delivery and £4.60

Waiting to hear about the bigger ones.

    Re: Possible Pyser SGI

If we can get at least 8 people to have a survival one that's fine - and I can do a batch of those myself and pay when I have them. It's ordering a £280 quid compass to be told by someone they've changed their minds that would upset me. I could probably sell one or tow of these here.

I'm having two survival ones, can't hide a £250 one from the wife....
