Hi!!We all see and sometimes take pictures of animals around our house,or during our travel vacations!!Here some!!Maybe you have a few from your area too!!

"Weeping frog"(Physalaemus biligonigerus)

This little lizard was near the swimming pool at the hotel in Miami!!Cute!!

Baby tortuise that came walking near the ranch swimming pool!!(Trachemys dobrigni)

Those landed on our lawn!!

More visitors around the house!!Mimus saturninus,Furnarius rufus-3R,Chauna torquata.

Some ducks on next!!

Like the Mantis, they alway look a bit goofy when you see their heads

mmm duck, reminds me, dinner tonight is duck breast with a port and redcurrant sauce accompanied by sauteéd red cabbage

Those ducks are very nice to eat with whichever sauce you chose!!As you see they are plentiful!!This is a pond for cattle watering,and allways a lot of activity from birds and other animals!!In the areas where rice is cultivated tourist hunters have (I was told) shot over a thousand 12 Ga shots at ducks(in one day!!)!!Absolutely not an endangered species!!Quite tame in this area!!Doves are also a free shooting species and parrots(small green ones!)

Hi!!Psittacosis!! Those are big,not specially noisy,but according to my bird book they would be :white faced tree duck,locally known as Sirirí pampa!!
Their area comes from Costa Rica(Central America) to Uruguay,except Chile!!
The swans are :the black necked one (Cygnus melanocoryphus),the white ones(Coscoroba coscoroba) both South american!!

Thank you Marcus!!Yes big catepillars That passion flower then gives a sweet fuit,red/orange coloured and full of small grains!!Locally called Mburucuyá!!!

Thank you Mirage,and Thomas!!Glad you like the pictures!!Maybe you can post some too!!I really don't know which species that little lizards is!!It is from Florida(USA),took some time to get her with the red underchin to picture it!!The baby tortoise is local,came walking probably from the nearby river coast!!They make lovely pets!!

This toad (Bufo fernandezae) was also near our swimming pool at the ranch!!

Philodryas patagoniensis gobbling up a big frog!!

Some poisonous mushroms in the forest!!
