Re: Rules for Ebay pimping....
I thought it was no "pimping" at all. Are you relaxing the rules? Where should links be posted?

If you're going to open the gates on this I think we'd need an EBay auctions ...or External Auctions....forum.
IMHO being "EBay free" is better...

Re: Rules for Ebay pimping....
Don’t forget that if you do put a link to an item that you are selling on e-bay, then we can all read your feedback and see exactly what you have been buying :rotfl:
It can be quite interesting to see what other people have bought
Tip, after 3 months your purchase / sales can no longer be seen in your feedback file.

Re: Rules for Ebay pimping....
The reason for this, we;ll many of the knives bought and sold on here have a very small market - us, so here is as good a place as any to post your stuff for sale. But once in a while, a collectors item comes up, with wider appeal. You want the best price for it right? Ebay would probably deliver that, so there should be a shoutbox for selling such. But it needs to be limited.

Re: Rules for Ebay pimping....
Oh, also members must be registered for at least 30 days and have a minimum of 100 posts on the forums in order to use the ebay pimping forum. This is automatic, if you dont fulfill the criteria, the forum wont allow you to post. This is to stop people joining, simply to pimp.

Re: Rules for Ebay pimping....
I think if you add up all the admins, mods, supporting members and members with >100 posts, it totals about 150 or so. It's less than 10% of the total membership, so it shouldn't be a runaway, out of control thing.
