Re: Let's See your 4x4s
I'm sure you've seen this one before
Land Rover Special Vehicles "Silver" 110 Double Cab. This is one of only 300 that SV made in 2005. It had the Truckman rear load cover, Warn M8000 winch, Air Con, half leather seats (now covered by a full set of Exmoor trims canvas jobs), black chequer plate rash and a NAS rear step / tow bar arrangement.
The previous owner had the GKN electric overdrive fitted and let Superchips have a play with the ECU
Since I've had it (I'm dreading this list..) I've fitted: A Kenwood sound system, seat covers, uprated electrical distribution internally, snorkel, raised breathing kit, 4 Warn SDB-210 spots, Patriot roof rack with twin rear ladders, Howling Moon awning with sides, Howling Moon 1.6m deluxe roof tent, QT diff guards, custom chequer plate rear load cover thingy and a PRT ground anchor in the back.
I think that's it

Another option is a rolling chassis and go from there.
Forgive my ignorance, but where can I get more info on the rolling chassis idea please. It sounds rather interesting. Cheers Paul

It's been washed now.
Only took 3 hours.
Most of the green is covered by the snow in those pics.
I was dreading washing it as I though the algae was holding it together, but it turns out the rust is.

Re: Let's See your 4x4s
Algae eats rust, you want to be careful there, you could come back to a big pile of well fed algae and some tyres

Re: Let's See your 4x4s
MOT time for this on Friday

Fingers crossed.
If it fails and depending on the diagnosis and prognosis, there may well be a knife sale, a "for spares or repair - suit enthusiast" type ad, or just a return to the bike and use it as a shed on the lottie

Get your number plate sorted first mate, that's a definite fail like that.
I'm going out to make a decent contribution to society now, after that shameful display. If work was a good thing, the rich would have it all and not let you do it.

I wanted to study history but there's no future in it.
So that's what an invisible force field looks like !

here's my 90 csw, bought off here last week, with a picture of it's exclusive gearknob
so far i've bought a dog guard and a 3 pt harness for the middle seat, looking to get some steps so the family can get in the nearside.Last edited by Fast but dim; 12-08-09 at 09:47 PM.
"When cooking on a camp fire it must be cool enough to cook on so it needs to burn down to coals, at least in parts. It is customary to drink beer while waiting for the fire to cool down.
I recommend starting with a very big fire"
