I *think* the duty rate is 9.7% for nylon bags if I've read this voodoo right (4202 92 11 00):

    http://tariff.businesslink.gov.uk/ta...=&countryCode=

Which means the calc on my website would estimate slightly under as knives should be 8.5%, you could adjust the figure manually.
For leather work commissions please contact me through www.ianatkinson.net and read the information on there regarding waiting times, T+C etc. rather than sending me PMs, there is also a full gallery of my leather work on the site as well as videos! Yes. Considering the price you're paying it's an understandable irritation, especially that they arrived at the same time, ie someone might have noticed at the time of sending (?).

Been getting daily use out of my e+e, suprisingly useful. I thought it'd be a bit small, but fits the basics ok and I really don't feel it while walking despite the vanilla straps which are fine in reality.

Nice kit there MTG, shame about the colour mismatch.

Spent a wedge myself today, just ordered my new T3 in 6.5....

Not stopping me getting the new Spike Camp legacy in Coyote with MC E&E...... Can't wait to hit buy - but waiting until my friend is working in Europe to bring it over from California, my sphincter won't stand no more tax pain....
There is no excuse for a dull pocket knife. It merely shows a lack of initiative.

I was undecided between the T3 and the T2 , in the end I went for the T2 as I wanted a bit more capacity in the main compartment, but if I had the money I would have got both

    Re: Ah, Kifaru

Apart from a couple of pullouts (two ultralight and one padded) that do sterling duty, I have just succumbed to my first Kifaru kit - a "Claymorganiser" (G2 Malice Claymore + Organiser + chamber pocket + shoulderstrap) from the classifieds here.

Figured it'd make a good EDC bag alternative to my HPG Tarahumara rucksack 'cause I can't really wear the chest rig that goes with that at work

I reckon I'm safe from succumbing to Kifaru Rucksack Lust though - I prefer Mystery Ranch kit for rucksacks (especially the NICE frame with Crewcab, Loadcells & daypack lid... So versatile!). But who knows, maybe the claymorganiser will convert me to Kifaru?

After the show yesterday both myself and Ru set about the conversion of the E&E to xray. Hot knife, two cuts.. jobs done... the result is so much better on the shoulders. Worth it in everyway.

    Re: Ah, Kifaru

Heres some pics... and something I noticed that annoys me... besides the color difference that they dont seem to want to resolve.

The conversion is just a case of using a hot knife to cut the top wide webbing and looping it through the D rings on the xray straps. Then unlooping the other straps on the adjuster and rethreading them through the adjusters on the xrays. Took a couple of minutes and really makes the pack not only sit better but its so much more comfortable.

The skinny mini side pockets bumped my back all day at the show so I was going to move them to the other molle loops closer to the front of the pack, but they are sewn down so cant be used. WTF? Why have loops you cant use?

    Sewn shut

    right against my back

So here is the kifaru sleeping bag... it looks gold not coyote, and the green looks quite metallic and comparing woobies with the one of Ru's I saw, this material is different and metallic looking.

Nice bag though Tested for a night and its so warm...

Nice looking bag...whats the pack size like?
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Ax Man , the reason the 3rd section of molle is sewn shut is its where the zip attaches , think on it as extra armour protecting the threads of the sewn in zip .

I know Your pissed at the colour being off on the organiser and its a shame that Kif dont seem to see it as an issue , but at the end of the day use the kit it will get dirty and grow on You .

the sleeping bag looks a dream ,yeah its kinda Golden but still looks blimin warm .
