an aquaintance
Tod is a guy i have worked with a couple of times in the past and we recently discovered a couple of similar hobbies, Archery and knives (although he's more a re-enactment type ... and I don't dress up ... except in women's clothes, occasionally ...... but we won't mention that
)........ thought someone might like to look at his stuff

Which cement is that, BTW? I went for 1500M castable on the recommendations of Edward Shaw @ Purimachos.

Re: an aquaintance
I can probably spare some mouldable firebrick, if'n you want. Premixed!
Most of the 200kg was down to the firebricks... These will be used for quickie forge(s) so I can complete the mini gas forge - I need to sort out some legs & make a flange on the burner holder for welding - this is the easiest way to do it.Peter

thanks for the offer peter ..... but I have more than I need for my casting purposes ..... I am even thinking of making 2 tunnels that will lock together .. like lego .. if'n incase I want to do swords further down the line ... I got some of the fire cement sealant ina tube too so i can stick them together if'n need be. I am thinking of using the oblong tube that I have for a support frame to also feed the air to the burners by running the burners off it with 14mm tube steel for 3" and then putting a flare on and running 4mm copper through the middle of the steel tube to feed the gas. I was thinking of using the oblong box for the flare ..... anyone think square burner flares would work? ... I can't see any reason why not.
oh and watch that baggers ......... we might be in the wrong forum for talking about this ..... and you know how uppity he can get ... and he's a MODERATOR now!!!
