    Looks fine to me, I like walnut

    your being too hard on yourself.
    maybe it just feels like you rushed the job ...... but then again, I dont know how long it normally takes you to handle a knife

    it takes me forever.

    I like the way the grain runs down to the blade.
    somehow it would look odd, if you fitted the handles with the grain running the other way

    I dont know yet might not keep it long enough for a sheath.
