Had the day of work so put the handle on this blank, not sure if I like it or not

Looks fine to me, I like walnut

Sign of a craftsman, never being truly 100% satisfied with what you do, always gives you something to aim for on the next one.

I think it looks just fine.

your being too hard on yourself.
maybe it just feels like you rushed the job ...... but then again, I dont know how long it normally takes you to handle a knife

it takes me forever.

I like the way the grain runs down to the blade.
somehow it would look odd, if you fitted the handles with the grain running the other way

I dont know yet might not keep it long enough for a sheath.
