Re: Let's See Your Pistols
Forgot to ask what sort of bike that was Albert
I ask people who grumble' he said, ' if they ever heard the story of John Travers Cornwell. ...

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
Chap at the shooting club today was using a .357 magnum long barred revolver, very nice (and loud to say the least!) it was too!
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!'"

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
Kane that is a Suzuki 850,my son Alejandro's!!He made a 10 day trip to south argentina, then to Chile in the south where the Andes are lower,up north and back to Argentina and home!!6500km total with two other friend on Harleys, and the wives too!!(young people!!!!)
And if you think a long barrelled 357 is noisy you should hear the 21/2" barrelled model 19 with strong ammo!!!

Albert

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
My gun club had an open day at the weekend so I took BB member Bigmul along to try his hand. We started him off with a Ruger 10/22 then moved on to a Marlin lever action in .357". He shot well so it was time for a bigger bang...............
Out came my Ruger Old Army:

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
Sheridan .20 co2 pistol with red dot, custom grips and trigger shoe. Cracking little air pistol, also have a slot that i hope to fill soon on my FAC for a .44 Revolver.

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
Me got one of these! .44 Remington copy by Pietta. Big Bang, smoke and wide grins. Bit of a pain to load but such fun to shoot. Quite a good shooter for a front stuffer too!

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
well
i've added a couple more pissles to my collection, another webley junior and a sheridan E9A in 20cal (5.0mm)
i don't have a pic of the recently added junior (i swapped it for the nemesis) but i do have a pic of the sheridan
benjamin sheridan (or possibly crosman
) E9A... Co2 powered

it's a lovely and comfy pistol to use but is damned loud
i'll have to get a silencer adapter made for it
btw, it's solid brass under the paint (cylinder, breech and barrel) i've seen these stripped back to the brass and highly polished, this one may just end up with the same treatment
the frame is cast ally, it polishes up nice too

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
Really good pistols, they are loud like you say. Thinking of selling mine to fund a .44 revolver though.

Re: Let's See Your Pistols
Difficult to beat .44 BP revolvers or s.45 semi-autos, but here are mine:
The ones left in France... including a 1989 Crossman I got for my birthday from my father... oh, man, that's a classic then!

A fun gun with blowback

By the way, there is a shooting club near my place but they prove difficult to get in; I have already asked 3 times for joining instructions but only got a vague email, is it a common practice to get rid of canvassers and chavs?Last edited by SLT.AMBEMC; 17-03-10 at 10:59 PM.
