    Belt Grinder.

    Got this grinder at an auction (no, not evilbay, a real life people-in-the-same-room type).

    10 Yep, ten pounds.

    It's meant to sit on the toolpost of a very big lathe and be used for circular grinding. Just had convert it to single phase and make a bench mount for it.

    I know it's not the ideal shape for knifework, but it works, and for that price it's as good as I'm going to get.

    I found that bandsaw in a scrap yard, in a very sorry state. Took a lot of work to get it looking like that.

    I think the scrappie was glad to get rid of it, it was making the place look untidy!

    I think that kind of yellow has it's merits! Just cant think of any right now!!

    Seriously, I envy you. At least you've go those tools now, I can only hope I can find something similar.
