    Lightbulb DIY Sandblasting Cabinet

I found a sandblasting gun and pick-up hose for under 20, but after being quoted 100~170 for a made-to-measure cabinet, I set about making my own.

I built this from a sheet of 8'x4' 1.7mm aluminium, 20' of extruded 1' corner rail, and 100 pop rivets for 50, plus two leather gauntlets for 0.80 and a sheet of acetate for 1.50.

It's all very simple, but if I were to do it again, I would just get a big square plastic bucket, cover it with perspex and blast through a small aperture.
