...and if my wee brother is reading this, isn't it time you registered?
At the very least, you need to enthuse about all the stuff I keep giving you

to be fair i had been, shall we say, feeling a bit guilty for not posting here b4. i guess it's because i know its sometimes seen as a bit rude to 'lurk'.. which is why i posted in this thread you'll no doubt see me posting more often from now on (dont get excited, you'll soon wish i was still lurking)
you want my life story now or what?

Hi Matt - I see you're just across the way from me.
With the minor exception of the gouging ferry costs, that is.
How'd you meet Jim Jackson? I know his ex-son-in-law, but haven't met him yet.Peter

Hi Peter, was that quote from Treasure of the Sierra Madre? I wrote to Jim and he was coming to IOW for the weekend, brought his Journeyman's knife with him and a Damasus dagger. He told me to get in contact with Doc Price in Plymouth, he makes Wootz apparantly.

Cor, if I'd known that he was going to be there, I'd have swum across. I didn't know Doc Price was making wootz as well.
The quote, I'm afraid, is from a Weird Al Yankovich movie, UHF (exceedingly silly film). It is a mangling of the original, as you may have guessed.Peter
