about? reasons for lurking? just a bit cagey i guess, that and the fact that i can often offer little or nothing than that which has been mentioned by others far more knowledgable..certainly about knives.

in all the forums that i peruse i rarely post, some more or less so than others. i have found that even when perhaps very well informed or an 'expert' on a subject some annoying little troll will come along to rain on the parade. still i do like to read others opinions about subjects which interest me.

to be fair i had been, shall we say, feeling a bit guilty for not posting here b4. i guess it's because i know its sometimes seen as a bit rude to 'lurk'.. which is why i posted in this thread you'll no doubt see me posting more often from now on (dont get excited, you'll soon wish i was still lurking)
