Re: New Members & Lurkers, Welcome...
Hello all, I am a new poster here but am a regular on some of the Blade related Forums in the USA. I am a collector of, primarily, custom knives and aspire to be a maker. I am lucky to have several good makers here in Tucson, Arizona, USA from which to learn.
Erwin, a very nice looking folder indeed. You are about 200K south of my ancestral home in Gleusdorf , on the Itz River north of Bamberg. My son is planning to fly to London this month , then tour a bit of the EU. I am hoping he can get to Bavaria. I might have to PM you about a knife, eh?
I am fortunate to live in a place with basically NO restrictions on knives. I carry an automatic "Severtech" to my job as an aircraft mechanic daily. I view knives as basic tooling and not a very useful weapon, especially here where almost anyone can carry a gun, concealed or otherwise.
Anyway, I am glad to be on board and look forward to hearing and seeing the blades from UK members as well as your neighbors to the south. Good Luck, Alles Gut, and happy collecting. Kevin Fox

Hey i do belive we have met Stuart , i belive the knife in question is one the you made ! (steve25095) i just wanted to know how to accive the rounded type handles that i have seen on most knifes of this sort , is it just practice and skill or should i be using different size scales?
Also most of the blades seem to have a clear bevel where as mine is the same from spine to cutting edge ? sorry i am a complete novice but i am hooked !

Re: New Members & Lurkers, Welcome...
Hi guys - guess I should stop lurking. I'm a military historian and have collected a few bits and pieces over the years. Then my family started giving me blades as presents(!) - got quite a collection now. Just like reading what everyone else is up to. I'l go back to lurking now...... lurking's what I do best.

Hello! Thank you for the warm invitation to make myself known. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina on the east coast of the U.S. I am new to the knife collecting business and I joined to increase my knowledge! I'll be over here, in my little corner, listening respectfully!

Re: New Members & Lurkers, Welcome...
Greetings everyone. I am Paul Granger and I have been making knives for
about 10 years. I used to make quite a few, did a lot of shows and had a few dealers. But due to health reasons, I had tapered off a bit the last couple years. Well I'm beginning to deal with that, and I am jumping back into knifemaking again with full energy and enthusiasm (as health permits).
I am especially enthusiastic about being on British Blades, as the U.K. was the home of virtually all my forbearers. And it is the place that I wish most dearly to visit one day. I have read the forum rules and will try most whole-heartedly to operate within those parameters at all times. I sincerly hope that if I unknowingly venture too close to the boundaries of propriety that someone will bring it to my attention at their earliest convenience.
I have just begun to revisit the Forum and I have just created a new blog. I would like to invite each of you to visit it if you have a few spare minutes. I am proud of my work and I enjoy showing it to people. I welcome any feedback. My e-mail address is grangerknives@earthlink.net
The blog address is: www.palehorsefighters.blogspot.com

Hi Paul! Welcome to BB
I rather like the look of your M-3, it looks like a very useable little knife
